Modellino navale di drakkar (barcaccia vichinga) del IX sec. costruito totalmente in modo artigianale da Francesco de Padova inclusa la testa di drago sulla prua del modellino, la quale è stata disegnata ed intagliata a mano. Il modello, che misura circa 44 cm di lunghezza, circa 25 cm d'altezza e circa 8 cm di larghezza massima, è stato ideato e progettato sulla base di diversi drakkar reali sia storici sia ricostruzioni attuali.
La prima galleria mostra i particolari realizzati durante la fase di realizzazione, mentre la seconda mostra il modello intero da diverse angolazioni.

Hand made drakkar ship (Viking longship) model of the IXth century, by Francesco de Padova, is 100% handcrafted without using any kit including the dragon head on the model drakkar bow, which has been drawn and carved. The drakkar ship model is about 44 cm in length, about 25 cm in height and about 8 cm in beam. The model has been conceived and planned observing the photos of several real drakkars both historicol and reconstructions.
